Participation Terms
International Watercolor Festival “Colors of Armenia”
1. Organizer
The International Watercolor Festival “Colors of Armenia” is organized by Arvesta LLC.

2. Event Description
The festival is an educational and cultural program combining:
• daily plein-air painting sessions
• demonstrations and lectures by invited watercolor masters
• optional studio master classes
• guided visits to historical and cultural locations
• an optional exhibition and printed catalogue
The festival takes place 14–21 September 2026 in Yerevan and Gyumri, Armenia.
3. Participation Options
Participants may register for:
• the Full Festival Program
• individual master classes during Gyumri Watercolor Days (September 18-21, 2026)
• festival exhibition and catalogue participation
Each component is priced separately.
Participation places are limited.
4. What the Full Program Includes
The full participation fee includes:
• accommodation in a shared twin room
• breakfasts and dinners
• transportation within the official festival program
• guided cultural excursions
• participation in plein-air sessions
• festival opening and closing events
The following are not included:
• international flights
• travel insurance
• art materials
• personal expenses
• visa costs (if required)
Single-room accommodation is available for an additional fee.
Registration and Payment
5. Registration Process
Registration is completed in two steps:
- submission of the registration form
- payment of the required deposit
Places are allocated in order of confirmed deposits.
The organizer reserves the right to close registration once capacity is reached.
6. Deposit
To secure a place, participants must pay a deposit of €150.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the festival.
If the remaining balance is not received by this date, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the reservation and release the place to another participant.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
7. Cancellation by Participant
If a participant cancels their participation, the following conditions apply:
More than 60 days before the festival
• deposit refundable minus €100 administrative fee
30–60 days before the festival
• 50% of total participation fee refundable
Less than 30 days before the festival
• no refund
These terms reflect advance reservations of accommodation, transportation, and festival logistics.
8. Transfer of Participation
If a participant cannot attend, they may transfer their place to another artist, subject to approval by the organizer.
This option often allows participants to avoid cancellation losses.
Administrative fee for transfer: €50.
9. Master Classes and Exhibition Fees
Fees for the following are non-refundable once confirmed:
• studio master classes
• exhibition participation
• catalogue printing
These services involve early scheduling, venue reservations, and printing costs.
10. Cancellation by Organizer
If the festival cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, including but not limited to:
• travel restrictions
• natural disasters
• political instability
• insufficient registrations
participants will receive:
• a full refund of payments made to the organizer,
or
• the option to transfer their participation to a future festival.
The organizer cannot reimburse external costs such as flights, visas, or travel insurance.
Travel and Safety
11. Travel Arrangements
Participants are responsible for:
• arranging their flights
• obtaining visas (if required)
• ensuring valid travel documents
Participants are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance.
12. Liability
Participation in festival activities is voluntary.
The organizer is not responsible for:
• personal injury
• loss or theft of personal belongings
• travel delays or disruptions
• damage to artworks during shipping or transport.
13. Artwork Shipping
Participants sending artworks for the exhibition must:
• arrange and pay for shipment
• ensure proper packaging
The organizer cannot guarantee the safety of artworks during international shipping.
14. Media and Image Rights
During the festival, photos and video recordings may be made.
Participants grant the organizer permission to use such materials for:
• festival promotion
• social media
• publications
• future festival marketing.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials must notify the organizer in writing.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the registration form and making payment, the participant confirms that they:
• have read these terms
• agree to the refund policy
• accept the festival participation conditions.
